Shipping Policy
Unless otherwise stated we process and ship all orders within 48 hours (excluding Saturday, Sunday, and holidays) of payment receipt.
US Shipments (includes all possessions & territories):
All orders include insurance, and either delivery confirmation, signature confirmation or online tracking. These numbers are added to your order when it ships (click Order Status).All orders totaling $250 or more will have an additional $1.90 added for signature confirmation. The final shipping charge will be determined at time of shipping. The rates calculated at time of order closely reflect your actual charge and in most cases will over estimate.
Methods available are:
- USPS First Class / Priority Mail: Usually the most economical. Packages weighing 13 ounces or less will ship via First Class Mail. Packages weighing over 13 ounces will ship via Priority Mail. Average delivery time 4 days. However, the USPS does not offer a guaranteed arrival time. Not recommended for time critical deliveries.
- USPS Express Mail: Rates are calculated based on distance and weight. Delivery time is from 1-2 days to most US locations.
Please Note that the rate calculator cannot correctly calculate orders weighing in excess of 30lbs shipped via USPS. We will contact you concerning the shipping total prior to shipping USPS orders weighing in excess of 30 pounds.
The UPS calculator does not provide shipping quotes for very lightweight items. This is a problem with the UPS calculator not with ours. This does not mean that UPS shipping is free! If you look at the top of the page when checking out it states:
- Packages must weigh more than zero pounds
- Shipping charges may be added to your order. For terms, see the Info page.
We will attempt to contact you about shipping rates prior to shipping. However, should attempts fail, we will ship using the method chosen at the one pound rate. Please select your shipping methods accordingly.
- UPS Ground: Rates are carrier-calculated, based on distance and weight. Delivery time is from 1-5 days in the Continental U.S. For guaranteed transit times in your location please see the UPS map below. Note that for most of the Midwest & Eastern states 1-3 day delivery is already guaranteed without paying an extra charge.
- UPS 3 Day Select: Guaranteed delivery by the end of the third business day to every address in the 48 contiguous states.
- UPS 2nd Day Air: Guaranteed delivery by the end of the 2nd business day to every address throughout the U.S and Puerto Rico
- UPS Next Day Air: Guaranteed delivery to all 50 states and Puerto Rico by the end of the day the next business day.
**Please note that UPS cannot deliver to a PO Box.**

Please note that for UPS, a business day does not include Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays. Example: We ship a package on Monday that takes 2 business days to arrive. You do not count the day you ship as a business day, so your package would arrive on Wednesday, the second business day after the ship date.
Deliver times are calculated from the day we ship. Choosing a service like Next Day Air does not put a rush on our processing of your order. All late delivery claims must be handled directly through UPS. UPS is guaranteeing your shipping time, not us. We will attempt to work with UPS on your behalf but we will not pay out claims for UPS's late delivery.

International Shipments:
All International packages include insurance. Packages sent via the United States Postal Service can not be tracked online unless they are sent via Registered Mail or Global Express Mail. If you desire tracking on your international packages please select Global Express Mail or include a notation to ship via registered mail. An additional fee will be charged for registered mail. International orders totally $150 or more may have an additional fee added for signature confirmation. The final shipping charge will be determined at time of shipping. The rates calculated at time of order closely reflect your actual charge and in most cases will over estimate.
Customs Forms will be marked as "other" with the purchase price (does not include postage) as declared value. Please remember that all taxes, duties and customs fees charged by your country are your responsibility. An additional courier charge may apply to orders shipped via UPS.
Shipping Methods Available:
- International Mail: Packages will be shipped either via Air Mail or Global Priority. Usually the most economical. Can take up to 8 weeks to arrive. Average is 2 weeks.
- Global Express Mail (GEM): Online tracking available. Can take up to 4 weeks to arrive. Average is less than 1 week.
- UPS Standard to Canada: Delivery to Canada's 10 provinces from the 48 contiguous states. Additional courier charges may apply.
The rate calculator cannot correctly calculate orders weighing in excess of 30lbs. We will contact you concerning the shipping total and method prior to shipping on all orders weighing in excess of 30 pounds.

Return & Refund Policy
Damaged or missing product claims must be made within 48 hours of receipt. Email refunds & returns or call 1-502-797-2434.
To receive a refund all returned items must be received in original condition within 30 days of purchase and include a copy of the original invoice showing purchase date and order number. We do not under any circumstance accept returns of partial merchandise! If you purchase and item and wish to return it, for any reason, you must return the entire item. We can not accept returns after the 30 day mark. Return costs are the responsibility of the buyer and only the actual purchase price will be refunded (except in cases where the wrong item was shipped or merchandise was defective). Shipping charges are not refundable. If you had received a quantity discount on an item and your return brings you under the quantity threshold, you will lose the discount on the items kept. Wholesale & Discount Information
The Beading Emporium™ does not sell wholesale per se. However, we do give volume discounts for large orders. Currently all discounts must be applied manually when the order is processed. Inquires on discounts for large quantities of individual items are always welcome. If you have a discount coupon please include your code in the notes section at time of order. If you forget to include your code you may email your discount code prior to order processing to discounts. Please include your order number. Your discount will be applied when the order is processed.

Our Back Order Policy
The Beading Emporium™ makes every effort to ensure that all orderable items are in stock. However, occasionally stock outs do occur. If we cannot fill your order and ship within 7 days we will ship what is available. You will only be charged for items shipped. Any quantity discounts due you will be applied irregardless of number of items shipped. We do not maintain a back order list. Out of stock items must be reordered when they are restocked.
Charitable Donation Request
Our company's mission includes charitable giving to both local and national causes. We have a particular passion and interest in those that benefit animals, children, and the arts. However, we welcome the opportunity to learn about any charitable organization.
If you are interested in support from The Beading Emporium™, please submit information to us regarding your organization by U.S. mail.
While we make every effort to respond to each request, please note that due to the large number of requests that we receive, we may not be able to respond to every request. We plan our charitable giving 6 months in advance and give priority to those organizations that benefit our local community. Request for charitable donations will only be entertained if the organization is certified as 501(3)(c).
Terms of Sale
Clients of The Beading Emporium™ using the web site located at www.the-beading-emporium.com agree that it shall defend, indemnify, save and hold The Beading Emporium™ harmless from any and all demands, liabilities, losses, costs and claims, including attorney's fees asserted against The Beading Emporium™ its agents, its clients, officers and employees, that may arise or result from any service provided or performed or agreed to be performed or any product sold by client, it's agents, employees or assigns. Clients of The Beading Emporium™ agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless The Beading Emporium™ against liabilities arising out of;
- any injury to person or property caused by any products sold or distributed in association with The Beading Emporium™ services;
- any material supplied by client infringing or allegedly infringing on the proprietary rights of a third party;
- copyright infringement and
- variances of products sold to client from The Beading Emporium™ services.
The Beading Emporium™ will not be responsible for any damages your business may suffer. The Beading Emporium™ makes no warranties of any kind, expressed or implied for services we provide. The Beading Emporium™ disclaims any warranty or merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. This includes delays, non-deliveries, wrong delivery, and any and all variances in product sold by The Beading Emporium™, or its employees. The Beading Emporium™ reserves the right to revise its policies at any time viewable at www.the-beading-emporium.com
